2015 SCI National Conservation Artist of the Year, Cynthie Fisher has donated an original scratchboard on panel. Cynthie Fisher, a resident of Hamilton, Montana, has been a professional wildlife artist for 35 years. She’s accrued quite a list of national art awards. Cynthie’s artistic passion is purely wildlife, all species worldwide, as well as the local favorites here in Montana. She paints in oil, acrylic and scratchboard, and makes glass mosaics and mixed media sculpture. She also does bronze sculpture of many unusual species, making good use of her knowledge of anatomy and behavior. What is scratchboard? “Scratchboard is done on a firm board that is covered first with white clay, then black ink. Scratches are made with anything that is sharp, such as an exacto blade or needle. The resulting scratches are white. Most scratchboard pieces are black and white, but I choose to add watercolor to the scratches, to create a colorful image. When finished the piece is varnished to protect it. It takes a long time to scratch off the image! LA11 – Montana Hunting Company – North Bridger Mountains – 2 Cow Elk

The Montana Hunting Company has graciously donated a 3-day for 2 hunters. You will hunt 3 full days, and each hunter can harvest a cow elk. This hunt will take place in the Bridger Mountains in 2026 (can be taken in 2027 only if you are a nonresident who doesn’t get drawn for a general elk license… you must apply!) The hunt will take place after the general hunting season, in the shoulder season unless other arrangements are made with MHC. This is a self-guided very successful hunt on a one-of-a-kind Montana ranch.  You will have the WHOLE ranch to yourself for three days. This is mountainous terrain consisting of timbered ridges and large valleys. Elk densities are very high, and it is not out of the question to see groups of several hundred. LA20 – Montana – 20 Pines Ranch – Cow Elk for 1 Hunter

Come explore the famous Missouri Breaks. One hunter and One Observer (Observer can be upgraded to a hunter for $1,500 with a tag) will be hunting a Cow Elk for 3 days/4 nights at the 20 Pines Ranch, 25 miles north of Winnett, on the Dovetail Road in the famed 410 hunting district.
